CRM manages a number of long/short equity private funds. CRM affiliated private funds can accommodate both onshore and offshore accredited individuals and institutional investors. At this time, CRM manages the following long/short equity strategies:

All Cap Long/Short Equity

This strategy establishes long and short positions in stocks across all market capitalizations using a bottom-up and value-oriented investment process. On the long side, CRM invests in stocks undergoing change (e.g. mergers, divestitures, new management or products) and are neglected by Wall Street with attractive valuations where the intrinsic value may exceed the current stock price. On the short side, we seek to take advantage of CRM’s intensive due diligence and short stocks of companies experiencing negative catalysts or fundamental deterioration.

Real Estate Related Long/Short Equity

This long/short equity fund specializes in real estate related equities. The fund invests across a broad investment universe of stocks including, but not limited to, REITs, hotels, homebuilders, healthcare facilities, restaurants, gaming, lodging, leisure and retail.

Our real estate related long/short equity strategy is managed by a team with specialized experience, contacts and tools to properly value real estate-related securities. On the long side, we look to buy stocks at large discounts to their real estate value and sell them at a premium to the real estate value. On the short side, we seek companies that are trading at a premium to their real estate value, where declining fundamentals are not yet recognized by the market.
